It just goes to show that if you work hard and are determined, you can climb the search engines quickly!  Way to Go Irene!  It also goes to show the power of Activerain!  To be able to move up to a top 5 in less than a month is very impressive!

Joel, Great example of how easy it really is. All it takes is a little bit of effort everyday and BAM! overnight success.

Irene - how do you do it?  I have so little time to even read the posts on AR not to even mention blogging every day.

Your very welcome Chris!  I love seeing people I helped become a Rainmaker have this kind of success.

Bryant - Thanks so much!  It's true, putting in that time each day, even just 15 minutes, can help you build to success.

Hi Joel...Do you know where Irene was prior to joining Active Rain or becoming a Rainmaker?  It would be great to know if Irene jumped from page 2 or 5.  We want to be as impressed as possible.

Hi Irene...Congratulations.  I'm off to read some of your posts.  Good luck as you move up the ladder of success (aka Google pages).

That's great that Irene made that jump so fast. What's the trick? Or is there one?

Posted by William James Walton, Sr. Greater Waterbury Real Estate (Century21 Access America) about 1 year ago

Joel...

Irene jumped right in and has been very supportive of all of us. I am pleased to see that she getting back what's she's willing to share. This proves the point I try to make with the Newer Members...You get out of AR what you're willing to put in to it :)

P.S. Don't let Blog Boy (Bryant) fool you. Fifteen minutes a day? Pah-Leeze :)

Lots of folks get to the top here, those that stick to it, and work hard are fairly new and always crank out good posts to read. Content is king around here.

Man, oh, man! What am I gonna do for month two, Joel???

First, pre-AR, I probably was on page 46 of any Google search. I knew zip about SEO, tags, etc.  Joel helped me with my first blog. I've probably benefited from reading what everyone on this page has said in one post or another and then edited existing posts to improve my tags. You should see my bookmarks for future study...

I will make a promise here to go through those bookmarks and do a post of what I've been able to digest from stage 1. TLW is right about getting back what you're willing to give - like you, Joel, she inspires me to try to contribute to others.

Need a larger pillow - my head is FAR too big to fit on my usual one. (She blushes modestly as she signs off...)

Guess who just taught herself how to reblog? I have NO shame. Thanks, folks, for the "atta-girls!"

Posted by Irene Kennedy Realtor® in Northwestern NJ (Weichert) about 1 year ago

Just boggles my mind that agent will laugh about all of this until I get them to put any blog about their community on upcoming events.  Then Google your neighborhood in a couple days....and then they change their mind. But to get them started......geeeez.
